Satellite imagery indicates expansion of Saudi missile facility near Al-Duwadimi

Status: published

Commercial satellite images indicate that Saudi Arabia is expanding a ballistic missile facility near Al-Duwadimi to build larger solid-fuel missiles, according to researchers cited by Reuters. Imagery recorded between April 2025 and September 2026 shows a newly constructed building at least twice the size of the existing structure, which analysts assess is likely intended for casting missile motors. Saudi officials have not publicly commented on the reported construction.
