A Palestinian civil defence member was killed by Israeli forces while attempting to evacuate wounded individuals in Jabalia, according to Gaza's Ambulance and Emergency Services. Separate reports also state an Israeli air strike killed a rescue volunteer in northern Gaza amid strikes that killed at least four Palestinians. It remains unconfirmed by independent observers whether these reports describe the same incident or separate casualties.
Unresolved: Reports vary on the manner of death, with one account stating the civil defence member was shot dead while evacuating wounded people in Jabalia, while another reports a rescue volunteer was killed in an air strike in northern Gaza.
