Emergency responders were deployed to the Dahu pumping station in Kaohsiung after a middle school student disappeared while playing in the water with two companions. Police and fire officials deployed boats and rescue personnel to the debris dam area following a report on the afternoon of September 28. The missing student has not yet been located as search operations continue.
