Captured record

Captured between 2026-10-13T00:52:48.703Z and 2026-10-13T00:52:48.734Z. This is a captured core record, not a reconstruction of an arbitrary earlier moment.

Distress signal received from sailing vessel Yancey in Western Caribbean Sea

Status: withdrawn

A distress signal has been received from the sailing vessel Yancey off the coast of Cuba in the Western Caribbean Sea. Maritime authorities have requested that vessels in the vicinity keep a lookout and assist if possible. The nature of the emergency and the condition of anyone aboard remain unconfirmed.

Withdrawn: published with a date we did not read. The source warning carries a military date-time group our parser could not read, so the record fell back to the time we ingested it and dated a 2021-2024 maritime broadcast as 2026-09-09. The incident described may be real; the date we gave it was ours, not the source's.
