Off-duty police sergeant detained after motorcycle crash in Pingtung

An off-duty police sergeant from the Fangliao Precinct crashed his motorcycle into a ditch along Jiahe Road in Jiadong Township on November 22. Attending officers administered a breathalyzer test, which recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.58 mg/L. Administrative disciplinary decisions and potential legal penalties remain unresolved.
