Magnitude 7.2 earthquake recorded off Vanuatu
A magnitude 7.2 earthquake occurred in Vanuatu on 24 October at a recorded depth of 10 kilometres. Early reporting indicates that no population centres were located within 100 kilometres of the hypocentre. It is not yet reported whether any damage or tsunami activity resulted from the tremor.
