Typhoon Champi has prompted the postponement of both ceremonies of the 61st Golden Bell Awards in Taipei, marking the first postponement in the event's 61-year history as the city suspended work and classes for two days. The program category ceremony was rescheduled to Sunday, October 25, while the drama category ceremony moved to Monday, October 26, with the red carpet shifted indoors to the Taipei Music Center. The full impact on attendee availability and subsequent venue scheduling remains unresolved.
