Strong winds associated with Typhoon Champi have toppled multiple large signboards across Miaoli County, damaging vehicles and injuring at least one person. In one reported incident, a motorcyclist fell after becoming entangled in a fallen signboard's rope at an intersection on Provincial Highway 6.
