Ceres-1 sea-launched rocket deployed off the coast of Shandong

A commercial Ceres-1 sea-launch carrier rocket was launched from a vessel in waters near Rizhao, Shandong, on the morning of 21 October. Chinese state media and private rocket maker Galactic Energy reported that the rocket successfully placed the Xiguang-4 01 satellite into its planned orbit. Operational details regarding the satellite's full testing parameters have not yet been disclosed.
