Rescuer missing after evacuation of burning containership east of Brazil

A chief officer from a Portuguese-flagged bulk carrier went missing after being swept overboard during the rescue of crew members from a burning containership east of Brazil, according to Portuguese authorities. All 28 seafarers from the burning vessel were reported evacuated. The current status of the search for the missing officer has not been confirmed.
