Police officer injured by gunfire in Nottingham city centre

A Nottinghamshire police officer has been taken to hospital after being shot in the foot in Nottingham city centre early on Sunday. Police reported that the officer was struck by a bullet after approaching two suspects around the Angel Row area. The two suspects, a man and a woman, fled the scene and their identities and whereabouts remain unconfirmed.
