Sources report that Pakistan has temporarily closed the Taftan border crossing with Iran to commercial traffic and general movement citing security concerns. The action follows disruptions to cross-border trade between the two nations. It remains unresolved whether the closure affects other crossing points along the border or how long the restrictions will remain in place.
