Taiwan Coast Guard shadows Chinese coast guard vessels near Pratas Islands

Taiwan's Coast Guard Administration reported dispatching vessels to monitor and expel two Chinese coast guard ships detected approaching restricted waters southwest of the Pratas Islands on 16 March. The administration identified the vessels as China Coast Guard 3301 and 3303, deploying patrol vessels to shadow them one-to-one and issue broadcast warnings. Chinese authorities have not publicly commented on the encounter.
