Participant dies during half-marathon in Seoul
A 25-year-old participant collapsed approximately 500 meters from the finish line of a half-marathon in Seoul on 12 October and died after being transferred to a hospital. Emergency medical personnel administered first aid at the 20.6-kilometer mark before the transfer. The medical cause of death has not been publicly confirmed.
