Magnitude 6.0 earthquake reported in Panama
A magnitude 6.0 earthquake at a depth of 10 kilometres was reported in Panama on 10 October 2026. Preliminary estimates indicate approximately 4,000 people were located in areas with shaking intensity of MMI VII or higher. Reports of casualties or structural damage have not yet been confirmed.
