Israeli military reports cross-border strikes as shelling continues in south Lebanon

The Israeli military stated it has struck 28,000 targets in Lebanon and Syria since October 7, 2023, while reporting 20,000 rockets launched from Lebanon into Israeli territory over the same period. Overnight artillery shelling was also reported across villages in southern Lebanon. Details regarding casualties or the extent of damage from the overnight strikes have not been confirmed.
