Eight patients test positive for influenza A at Kowloon Hospital ward

Eight male patients in a rehabilitation ward at Kowloon Hospital have tested positive for influenza A after presenting with fever or respiratory infection symptoms since 2 October. Hospital officials reported that all eight patients, aged 47 to 90, are in stable condition, with one transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for other medical needs. Infection control measures have been reinforced in the ward while health authorities monitor the situation.
