Man detained in Yilan City after brandishing weapons on street
Police in Yilan City subdued and arrested a 24-year-old man who was observed shouting and brandishing bladed weapons on a public road late on 7 April. Officers confiscated four knives, a pair of scissors, and a hammer from the suspect, who they reported was suspected of being under the influence of drugs. No injuries to bystanders or police officers were reported, and the suspect was referred to prosecutors on public endangerment charges.
