EU ambassadors consider expanded sanctions package against Russia
European Union ambassadors are reported to be meeting to consider a new package of sanctions targeting Russia, which includes 1,570 entities and individuals. Reports indicate the measures would add 743 individuals and 826 companies linked to the Russian military-industrial complex to the blacklist. Whether the package has already been formally agreed or remains under negotiation is unresolved among the reports.
