Construction worker dies after fall at Tung Chung work site

A construction worker in his thirties died after falling from a height onto a podium at a work site on Wui Tung Road in Tung Chung. Emergency responders transported him to North Lantau Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 2:30 p.m. The Labour Department attended the scene, and the cause of the fall remains under investigation.
