Students report gastrointestinal illness at Yanping High School in Taipei

Twenty-one junior high school students at Yanping High School in Taipei have reported vomiting and diarrhea, with some requiring hospitalization. Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an stated that city education and health officials have been dispatched to investigate and collect samples for testing. Officials have not yet confirmed whether the illness is due to food poisoning or norovirus.
