Police shoot and kill 17-year-old on New York overpass
Officers in New York shot and killed a 17-year-old carrying a knife following a 50-minute negotiation on an overpass. Police fired approximately ten rounds after the teenager moved from the bridge barrier toward an officer. The official review of the circumstances surrounding the shooting remains unresolved.
