Eight Zamfara State lawmakers defect from APC

Eight members of the Zamfara State House of Assembly have announced their departure from the All Progressives Congress. The lawmakers, representing constituencies including Bakura, Talata Mafara South, Maradun 1, Gummi 1, and Kaura Namoda, cited an alleged non-payment of salaries and allowances spanning 32 months. Their new political affiliation has not yet been confirmed.
