Heavy rainfall causes widespread flooding across Dakar

Heavy rainfall over the weekend caused significant flooding across several neighbourhoods in Dakar, submerging the Yoff bridge and leading the Mbao marigot to overflow. Travel disruptions were reported in Keur Massar and distress was noted around the Philippe Maguilène Senghor facility. The full extent of structural damage or any casualties remains unconfirmed.
