Tanker reports explosions nearby in Bab el-Mandeb strait

A tanker reported sighting multiple explosions in close proximity to the vessel approximately 60 nautical miles south of Al Mukha, Yemen, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations. The crew was reported safe with no environmental damage observed. The source of the explosions has not been identified and authorities are investigating.
