Authorities in Mindanao detain 244 foreign nationals in online gambling raids

Philippine law enforcement and military personnel conducted raids across two locations in Mindanao, detaining 244 foreign nationals suspected of operating illegal online gambling operations. The Bureau of Immigration stated that the vast majority of those detained are Chinese citizens, alongside one resident of Hong Kong. Full identities and formal charges for all individuals held have not yet been released.
