Nine students at Taipei primary school report illness after lunch

Nine elementary school students from the same class at Minzu Elementary School in Taipei experienced gastrointestinal symptoms after eating school lunch on September 24. Six of the affected children sought medical treatment, where physicians evaluated the condition as gastroenteritis. The Department of Education reported that vegetarian students were among those ill and that the cause remains unresolved pending sample testing.
