Students detained at Hyderabad university ahead of campus event

Police in Hyderabad have detained student leaders from the English and Foreign Languages University ahead of a scheduled talk on campus by a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh leader. Student groups reported that the police action took place at the behest of the university administration. The total number of students held and the formal charges against them have not been confirmed.
