Estonia bans transit of grain from Russia and Belarus

The Estonian government has imposed a national sanction prohibiting the transit of grain originating from Russia and Belarus through its territory. Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced the measure, citing Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports and restrictions on Ukrainian grain exports. It is reported that neither Russia nor Belarus had previously used Estonia for these grain transit routes.
