Changhua records local dengue fever cluster

Health authorities reported a locally acquired dengue fever cluster in Changhua City after a man in his sixties tested positive for dengue virus serotype 1. The individual lives approximately 110 metres from another locally acquired case identified earlier in September. Viral sequencing is underway to determine whether the cases share a direct transmission link.
