Ruling party politician killed in DR Congo following Ebola broadcast

A senior official from the Democratic Republic of the Congo's ruling party was reportedly beaten to death after appearing on a radio programme about the Ebola outbreak. A representative for the Union for Democracy and Social Progress stated that the attack occurred after the broadcast promoting disease prevention measures. The perpetrators of the killing have not been publicly identified.
