US denies visas to members of Iranian presidential delegation for UN General Assembly

Iranian state media reported that the United States refused visas for members of President Masoud Pezeshkian's communications team ahead of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The Iranian delegation described the denial as a hostile act while Pezeshkian's planned address to the assembly remains scheduled for Wednesday. It is not yet clear whether the visa denial affects any other members of the broader delegation beyond the media team.
