Troops of Operation Fansan Yamma rescued 23 kidnapped victims and arrested four suspected Lakurawa members in Sokoto State, according to local and international reports. Military units also intervened to disrupt planned attacks across the Wurno, Sabon Birni, and Isa Local Government Areas.
