IRGC reports downing of US MQ-1 drone over Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed a United States MQ-1 drone over the Strait of Hormuz. The incident was reported by IRGC public relations as part of operations by the country's integrated air defence network. Independent corroboration from United States officials has not been reported.
