Iranian air defences down Orbiter reconnaissance drone over Strait of Hormuz

Iranian armed forces reported shooting down an advanced Orbiter reconnaissance drone over the Strait of Hormuz at approximately 18:30 local time. Reports indicate the drone was brought down in southeastern Iran after allegedly being launched from the United Arab Emirates. The origin and operator of the aircraft have not been independently confirmed.
