Five children injured after driverless car rolls into walking group in Tokamachi

Five kindergarten children were injured and taken to hospital in Tokamachi after an unoccupied car rolled forward out of a garage across a road. The vehicle had been parked by an octogenarian driver who had exited before it moved roughly six metres into a group of walking students and teachers. Police are investigating whether the parking brake had not been fully engaged.
