Three dead and eight infected in malaria cases linked to Frankfurt Airport

Health officials in Germany have reported eight malaria infections and three deaths among airport workers and residents living near Frankfurt Airport since late August. Authorities suspect the infections were caused by mosquitoes arriving on incoming flights. It remains unconfirmed whether further cases are connected to the cluster.
