Historic archway at National Cheng Kung University damaged by maintenance vehicle
A university maintenance vehicle struck the 1956 entrance archway at National Cheng Kung University on 16 March, causing concrete to chip off. The university said the main structure and inscription were undamaged, cultural heritage authorities have been notified, and repair work will be undertaken. The full timeline and cost of repairs have not been stated.
