Yemeni government forces report advances against Houthis in western Taiz

Yemeni government forces have reportedly recaptured positions overlooking the Jardad area in western Taiz and advanced toward Gail Bani Omar. A military source cited by state news agency Saba stated that government forces seized equipment and inflicted heavy losses on Houthi fighters amid air support. Casualty numbers and independent confirmation of the territorial claims have not yet been reported.
