Israeli authorities detain Palestinian-American journalist in West Bank
Israeli forces detained a Palestinian-American journalist on Tuesday at a checkpoint near Bethlehem while she was returning from a reporting assignment, according to her sister and a colleague. The journalist had been reporting on incidents involving Israeli settlers and Palestinians in the West Bank. Israeli authorities have not released an official statement on the grounds for the detention.
