Libya suspends production at three oil sites after pipeline closure

Libya's National Oil Corporation has suspended operations at three oil sites following the closure of a major shipping pipeline in the western region. Members of the Petroleum Facilities Guard, a state-affiliated security force tasked with protecting energy infrastructure, reportedly shut the valve on the Al-Hamada–Zawiya pipeline. Further details regarding the extent of the shutdown or the guards' motives have not been confirmed.
