Burst water main floods section of Kwun Tong Road
An underground saltwater pipe burst along Kwun Tong Road near Horse Shoe Lane on Tuesday afternoon, sending water up to two metres into the air. The Transport Department closed the slow lane heading toward Yau Tong while the Water Supplies Department isolated the 150-millimetre main for emergency repairs. It is not yet clear when the lane will reopen to traffic.
