Engineering vessel runs aground off Yuanli in Miaoli County
An engineering vessel ran aground after suspected reef contact off the coast of Yuanli Fishing Port on the morning of 13th. Both crew members escaped uninjured aboard an inflatable life raft and returned to port. The extent of the hull damage and the cause of the incident remain under investigation by authorities.
