Yemeni forces claim territorial gains along Red Sea coast

Forces affiliated with Yemen's Sanaa-based military announced the conclusion of a major military operation, claiming to have captured 5,400 square kilometers of territory along the Red Sea coast. The statement added that international shipping remains safe, with an exception declared for Saudi-affiliated vessels, and reported the downing of nine Saudi drones during the offensive. Independent verification of the claimed territorial control has not yet been established.
