Lebanese forces arrest relative of former Syrian president during drug raid
Lebanese security forces detained several people, including Suleiman Hilal Al-Assad, during a raid on a suspected drug warehouse in the Beqaa region on Friday. Media reports indicate Syrian authorities have requested his extradition regarding allegations of drug smuggling and involvement in killings in Syria. Lebanese authorities have not publicly confirmed whether they will hand him over.
