Dozens of students fall ill after school lunches in Taipei
At least 87 junior high school students at Cheng Yuan High School in Taipei developed vomiting and diarrhea after eating school lunches, followed by at least ten more reporting gastrointestinal symptoms at Dali High School. City health authorities inspected hot food services across several schools served by the same catering contractor and found hygiene deficiencies at six institutions. The precise cause of the outbreak has not yet been confirmed by health officials.
