Houthi forces reported to seize Red Sea port city of Mokha
Houthi forces in Yemen have reportedly taken control of the Red Sea port city of Mokha near the Bab el-Mandeb strait. Sources indicate the strategic coastal location was seized amid regional tensions over trade and energy transport routes. Independent verification of the extent of control or casualties from the ground assault has not been established.
