Iranian forces report intercepting American unmanned vessels in Strait of Hormuz

Iranian state media and military sources report that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps captured an American unmanned underwater vehicle in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian military statements also claim that an American MQ-1 aerial drone was shot down over the strait using an air defense system. United States officials have not yet confirmed the loss or capture of either vessel.
